Technical Manager

I. Key Responsibilities
– Implement and evolve patterns, practices, and processes to support effective design, development, and delivery of customer value, in partnership with engineering leaders, and Product Leaders.
– Coach and mentor engineering leaders, individual engineers to be more effective individual contributors.
– Ensure adherence to established patterns, practices, and processes in areas of immediate responsibility and across engineering.
– Architect and review code
– Should be strong in building the high-quality system in either Javascript/Nodejs/Reactjs/React Native or any functional languages.
– Involving in strategic and operational decision making.
– Understand and convey the product vision to the team and drive initiatives to achieve them.
– Responsible mentoring, development, and managing an entire team of engineers to grow a highperformance engineering organization.
– Ensuring technology teams deliver major initiatives that drive our service/system growth.
– Participate in product team iteration planning, release planning, and coordination of dependencies.
– Work closely with Product, Business, Quality Control teams to understand and track to closure product implementation, enhancements, and changes.
– Management of roadmap milestone deliveries.
– Create, communicate, and ensure compliance of high coding standards.

II. Job Requirements
– Proven experience as Technical Manager
– 5+ years of experience in web and mobile development technologies in general.
– Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
– Familiarity with Java/NodeJS / ReactJS / React Native / Javascript /HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Sql/NoSql, Message Queue
– Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
– A proficient English communicator with the ability to work under high pressure and build up good internal and external relationships
– Good at English speaking, writing, and listening skills
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field
– Experience in Payment gateway/E-Wallet/Fintech is a plus.
